Every year, creating the TEEG Annual Report is a new chance to tell our story. The challenge is to explain what we do clearly, concisely and creatively in order for people to see the value that our agency provides and the impact that we have in the communities we serve.
The 2019 Annual Report, Nurturing a Caring Community, is a how-to manual of the work TEEG does. Once known as the Thompson Ecumenical Empowerment Group originally founded to serve residents of Thompson, we have expanded to serve our neighbors in many communities in surrounding towns. Now known as TEEG, we touch more lives in more ways than many people realize. As a grassroots community service agency serving the northeast corner of Connecticut, we work quietly behind the scenes to give individuals and families the support they need to live independently.
In the pages that follow, you will be guided with illustrations and helpful hints to understand how we carefully apply the resources provided by our community, our grantors, and our funders to offer compassionate care for others. Our agency is proud to offer a wide variety of services to people of every age to help them find financial as well as many programs that are open to all regardless of economic need.
We hope that our step-by-step manual inspires you to become a TEEG supporter. Support can mean a monetary donation, a donation of goods or services, or your valuable time as a volunteer.

been for 32 years, ready and willing to work to make our corner of Connecticut a better place to live for every resident, every day.
