CHOICES stands for Connecticut’s program for Health insurance assistance, Outreach, Information and referral, Counseling and Eligibility Screening. The program offers Connecticut’s older adults and persons with disabilities a one-stop resource that provides information and referral services on a wide variety of aging-related matters.
This includes assistance with health insurance concerns and enrollment in Medicare Programs. We help seniors to understand and exercise their rights, to receive benefits to which they are entitled, and to make informed choices about insurance options.
TEEG staff are certified CHOICES counselors and work with the Senior Resources Area Agency on Aging to offer these services. Contact us at 860-923-3458 for more information or to schedule an appointment.
