In keeping with TEEG’s mission to:
- Empower individuals to live independently
- Strengthen families to live respectfully
- Engage the community to work collaboratively
- Connect resources to promote a better future for all
We stand against all acts of racism, injustice, and hatred. The above ethos cannot stand without our support and provision of programs that aid in understanding, provide the opportunity for peaceful, honest dialogue, and equal support to all who seek a safe and stable future.
We commit to providing educational opportunities that address diversity and inclusion for all staff members.
We will be intentional in supporting actions that promote justice, safeguard human rights, and ensure fair and equitable treatment and respect for the dignity of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
We will encourage our board and staff to engage in dialogue about the systemic forces that affect our relationships with each other, those we serve and our community.
In an area where exposure to diversity is minimal, we cannot and should not shield youth from issues of race. As a Youth Service Bureau, we pledge to offer opportunities for youth to explore these issues in a safe and supportive space.
