On October 14, 2018, the TEEG garden was gratefully dedicated to Donna Grant, form TEEG Executive Director.
Donna first joined TEEG in 1998 as Youth Programs Manager. Never one to leave an issue unresolved or an individual struggling, she quickly rose through the ranks to take on the leadership role of our agency.
Shaping, coaxing, advocating, and building, Donna moved TEEG forward and grew programs to serve area residents to so many ways. She poured her passion into each project and defended those she served with vigor. Donna’s concern for youth in our area was paramount. As the TEEG building took shape she saw the need for a space where mentors could meet with their mentees to relax, talk, and problem-solve. The therapeutic garden she envisioned provides shelter from the storms of everyday life.
