On October 14, 2018, the TEEG building was gratefully dedicated to John Rice, the official “clerk of the works.” His dedication and hard work created the amazing community space that we call home.
Work began on our present building in 2009. John immediately stepped in to lend a hand. He volunteered countless hours to make sure that the construction work was done right and on time. But John didn’t stop there. When we opened the building in 2012, he became the unofficial “Head of Maintenance” repairing, upgrading, and maintaining the building.
To this day, John keeps our systems in tip-top shape and find replacements when things are beyond repair. His sense of humor and genuine concern encourage us to keep going.
Thank you, John Rice!
